Enhanced version of the Wellesley Index - now available!
An enhanced, standalone version of the Wellesley Index is now available to all C19 Index users, free of charge. This new version offers enhanced searching and browsing of all articles, contributors, pseudonyms, and periodical introductions. Results are grouped, allowing users to quickly focus on specific aspects of this complex material in ways that are not possible using the broader C19 Index, or the earlier print or CD-ROM versions of Wellesley. Extensive hyperlinking between the various record types is also available as well as MARC records for all of the indexed periodicals and for the database itself. A link to "Search the enhanced version of the Wellesley Index to Victorian Periodicals, 1824-1900" is available at the bottom of the Wellesley Index search screen, and each Wellesley record within C19 Index provides a link to the corresponding record in the Wellesley standalone version.
